Many organisations struggle to manage the security on external doors and handing over keys to your premises to employees carries with it a number of inherent risks. For example, keys can be duplicated without your knowledge and authorisation, doors may be accidently left unlocked, or key holders can be unavoidably delayed, meaning doors are left unsecured or locked when they shouldn’t be.

Transform door management
Remote Locking from Reliance High-Tech is an innovative service that transforms the efficiency of your door management and security. Using an intelligent lock and a control unit with an integrated GSM/GPRS modem - to communicate with our Remote Monitoring Centre - it enables the secure opening and closing of your premises to be scheduled at pre-agreed times or upon demand. The unit will also report back in real-time on the status of your door, ensuring our operators can act quickly to resolve any issues that may arise with your security.

The system can detect and identify many different events, such as a door being forced or left open, and will send a text alert or email to a nominated person notifying them that the event has taken place. In addition our monitoring centre operators will also be alerted, so if for example a door fails to shut properly and can’t be locked at the scheduled time, our operators will follow your required escalation procedure to resolve the situation.

Remote Locking
Our Remote Locking solution can improve flexibility with visitor management and staff access. Should a door need to be locked or unlocked outside of the scheduled times, our Remote Monitoring Centre operators can initiate this at the touch of a button. The smart lock also operates as a “normal” lock and can be mechanically over-ridden with a key if necessary.

Employees can always exit the building, regardless of the status of the lock, using an internal mechanical door handle, ensuring the solution complies with European fire regulations.

If needed the Remote Locking solution can also be used as part of a broader key-holding, alarm response, mobile patrol and property inspection service.
